The Art of the Brick – Union Station

Images of the Great War – National WWI Museum and Memorial
The final two years of World War I marked the entrance of the United States into the conflict, an intervention that changed the course of history. National WWI Museum and Memorial’s Images of the Great War showcases the pictorial work created during the war—particularly during this time period—with works on display by illustrators hailing from the USA, France, Britain and Germany. Be on the lookout for special events memorializing the 100th anniversary of Armistice, as well.

Playing for Keeps: The VFW Marble Tournaments – The National Museum of Toys and Miniatures
Once the most popular playground game in the country, Playing for Keeps examines the impact of marbles and the VFW Marble Tournaments that ran from 1947 to 1962. Visitors will hear firsthand stories of tournament players, view a mid-century modern living room, discover trophies, memorabilia and more, all at The National Museum of Toys and Miniatures.
