The annual Leavenworth Vintage Homes Tour has become a holiday tradition for area residents and visitors when they tour vintage homes decorated for the season and learn the history of past owners and their lives in the First City of Kansas. As a river city on the Missouri, Leavenworth takes great pride in an extensive selection of Victorian era homes. A tour of local homes offers a glimpse into the unusual legacy of history to be found only in Leavenworth. The Carroll Mansion Museum, where Leavenworth’s history has been witnessed since 1858, serves as tour headquarters. Selected home owners graciously open their historic homes, festooned in holiday decor, to transport visitors back in time as they become immersed in the Christmas spirit on the second Sunday of December.

Tour proceeds benefit the operation of the Carroll Mansion Museum and the mission of the Historical Society to preserve Leavenworth County history.

Tickets: $25 donation. Pre-paid soup & sandwich lunch tickets: $15 donation. Ticket purchase deadline is noon on Saturday, December 7, 2024.
