Join expert Vonnie Fisher at the historic 1920s chicken coop of Shawnee Town to discuss the basics of caring for your own flock! From chicken behavior to feeding, coop needs, chicken health, and more, participants will get a comprehensive tutorial and opportunity to ask all their big questions! The class will also provide information on the City of Shawnee’s backyard chicken ordinances.

Pre-registration is $15.00 and required. Visit the link below or call (913) 248–2360 to register. Class begins promptly on April 12 at 10:00 am at the chicken coop. Visitors should plan to arrive 15 minutes early and check in at the Visitor Center.
