A Swiftie’s Guide to KC: See Taylor’s Version of Kansas City
Step into many Kansas City-area gift shops and local marketplaces these days and you’ll find a nod to Taylor Swift.
From “In My Red Era” t-shirts to red-and-gold friendship bracelets and even a “Saint Taylor” prayer candle, there are countless creations paying tribute to the popstar.
She’s been loved worldwide for years, but ever since she started showing up at Kansas City Chiefs games and even celebrating in local bars, Kansas Citians have started calling her one of their own.
But if you truly want to experience Kansas City like Taylor has—Taylor’s Version, if you will—here are some don’t-miss destinations to explore.
SHOP: EB and Co.
A few Kansas City businesses have found themselves in the spotlight after Taylor became a customer.
The popstar was spotted wearing a Travis Kelce-themed ring from this accessories shop with locations in Brookside and on the Country Club Plaza.
EB and Co. has a whole Swiftie collection featuring more rings, earrings, headbands, scrunchies and more. Don’t forget to explore the rest of the store for necklaces, hair clips or purses. You’ll feel bejeweled in no time.
SHOP: Westside Storey
Westside Storey received an impressive order for several vintage sweatshirts in 2023. That order turned out to be for Taylor herself.
Swifties quickly sold out the sweatshirt online when they saw the popstar wearing it at a Chiefs game. Months later, it’s still sold out. Westside Storey even threw in a custom beanie, which Taylor also sported at another Chiefs game.
But there’s plenty more Taylor Swift and Chiefs merch to discover at this Westside shop. From tees to earrings and more, Westside Storey owners say they’re “just as obsessed with Taylor as you are.”

Made in KC: With 10 retail locations across the area, Made in KC has hundreds of brands’ best offerings. Find friendship bracelet kits, beanies, magnets, tees and other fun Swiftie items.
RAYGUN: This printing and apparel store in the Crossroads Arts District has multiple Taylor-inspired tees. You’ll find designs like “Taylor Swift loves Kansas City” or “Karma is the guy on the Chiefs coming straight home to me.”
Shop Local KC: With two locations in Brookside and Crown Center, Shop Local KC features more than 300 Kansas City makers. Grab a “So Long, London” candle or a “Folklore” tote bag to add to your collection.
GO: GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium
In 2023, thousands of Swifties packed in at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium for two nights of the Eras Tour. It’s where Kansas City’s obsession with the “Anti-Hero” singer really took off since Chiefs star Travis Kelce was also in attendance.
While the Eras Tour might not be coming back to Kansas City, that doesn’t mean it has to be the last time fans go to the stadium.
Swifties-turned-Chiefs fans can still attend an electric game at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium.
If you’re a diehard member of the Kingdom, take a stadium tour. You might even get to see the suite where Taylor sat for her first Chiefs game.
GO: Swift Street
While there’s no indication that Taylor has visited this popular street in North Kansas City, its street signs make for a great photo opportunity.
Before the Eras Tour, North Kansas City even temporarily renamed Swift Street as “Swift Street (Taylor’s Version).” Another intersecting street was temporarily named “Cornelia Street” to fans’ delight.
DINE: Prime Social
Kelce reportedly rented out this rooftop bar on the Country Club Plaza for a party with his friends, teammates and Taylor, of course.
Fans who want the full Taylor’s Version of Kansas City can enjoy elevated takes on bar food like pizza, sliders and even sushi. Prime Social's extensive cocktail list has everything from espresso martinis to local wine.
Don’t miss the sweeping views of the Plaza while you enjoy a drink or app with fellow Swifties.
DINE: Miracle
Taylor and Travis were spotted at this Kansas City holiday pop-up bar twice in 2023.
Miracle is known for its holiday-themed drinks like the “Christmapolitan” or “Jingle Balls Nog” and over-the-top Christmas décor.
The pop-up is only open during the holiday season, usually from around Thanksgiving until the New Year. So if you want to visit this Swiftie favorite in the future, make sure to time it right.
DINE: Black Dog Coffeehouse
Again, there are no reports Taylor has visited Black Dog Coffeehouse in Lenexa, Kansas, yet, but it would make for a great selfie or TikTok.
This Johnson County coffee shop offers a seasonal bonus menu and baked goods from Ibis Bakery, along with its staple coffees, salads and sandwiches.
With plenty of seating inside and out, it's a great option for remote work, catching up with friends, or a peaceful space to jam to "The Black Dog."
